Premankur Samajik Sanstha (PSS) envisions a just, inclusive, and sustainable development process for alienated sections of society—across both rural and urban areas—where people remain at the core of decision-making and action. PSS strives to build climate-resilient, empowered, and self-reliant communities beyond the traditional welfare approach.

Skill Developments
Objectives
- To ensure socio-economic development of 1 million unique households in rural and urban areas over the next 10 years by promoting land, water, climate-resilient agriculture, and allied livelihood activities—ensuring a minimum annual income of ₹1 lakh per household.
- To bring 10 lakh hectares of land under assured irrigation and establish water rights for 5 lakh farmers through Participatory Irrigation Management (PIM), supported by Water Resource Centers promoting climate-smart and efficient water use.
- To develop 50,000 hectares of land through soil development, regenerative agriculture, and climate-resilient land management practices.
- To promote and support animal husbandry activities for 1 lakh households, with a special emphasis on women’s participation and climate-adaptive livestock management.
- To build climate change awareness and adaptive capacity among rural and urban communities through sustainable natural resource management, renewable energy promotion, and environmental stewardship.
- To implement skill development initiatives for youth and women in both rural and urban areas to enhance employability, entrepreneurship, digital capabilities, and income diversification.
