Our Perspective

Agriculture remains the primary livelihood for rural communities; however, unpredictable climatic conditions, limited market awareness, and exploitative intermediaries severely impact farmers’ earnings. As a result, rural youth often migrate to urban centres in search of opportunities—only to face further exploitation, low wages, and poor living conditions.

Premankur strongly believes in channelizing youth potential, promoting sustainable local livelihoods, and reducing distress migration. To achieve this, the organization has adopted a multi-pronged strategy to create meaningful self-employment opportunities within the community.

Document Services Centre

  • Income, Domicile, and Caste certificates
  • Documentation for Women SHGs, passbooks, registers, and bank-related forms

Employment Guarantee Scheme

This intervention enhances self-reliance while promoting technical employment opportunities within the village itself.

Village-based Enterprises

Employment Generation through Khadi & Village Industries
